Beginner
(5-7 year olds)
Beginner
students will enjoy this hands-on study of the major characters
and events of the Bible using simple, colorful stick figures and
symbols. Teachers will appreciate the chronological and
easy-to-teach format! At the end of the year your students
will have learned 40+ memory verses and will have created their

Level 1
(1st -
2nd grade)
Level
1 students
will begin to learn the Old or New Testament Timeline, with each subsequent
lesson related to a point on the timeline. Teachers will see measurable results
in just a few lessons! In one year your students should be able to recite
38+ memory verses, fill out the timeline and tell you several facts about each

Level 2
(3rd - 4th
grade)
Level
2 students will expand their knowledge of the Old or New
Testament Timeline. Memory work includes the books of the Bible
in order and by category. Additional Old Testament memory work:
Ten Commandments and the Twelve Sons of Jacob. Additional New
Testament Memory work: 12 Apostles and the Apostle's Creed. To

Level 3
(5th - 8th
grade)
Level
3 students will deepen their understanding of the Old or New
Testament characters and events. Students should be able
to complete either the Old or New Testament Timeline on
their own. In addition, students will be introduced to basic
biblical geography, so they will not only know what happened but

Level 4
(Teen - Adult)
Level
4 students will master the Old or New Testament Timeline and
know where the books of the Bible fit into the chronology of the
Timeline. Students will also be introduced to and practice
using basic Bible study tools: a Bible Concordance, A Bible
Dictionary, and a Topical Bible with each lesson. Students
will also be challenged with critical thinking questions

(Teen - Adult)

Studies makes multi-level teaching simple! If you are
teaching Level 1 to Level 4 we recommend that you purchase the
teacher manual at the highest level being taught. The teacher
notes for each level are designed to teach that level and the
levels below with minimal teacher adjustment. Learn more about Multi-Level

Walk
me through a lesson - Daily Schedule
Day
1:
Students will review the last three to four
characters/events on the timeline, filling in missing
pictures and titles. Students will also write
out the memory verses for last three to four lessons.
Level 2 students will begin their memory work for this
lesson.
Day
2-3: Students will read and draw through the lesson
and answer review questions.
Level 3 students will also learn basic Bible geography
(when applicable) for that lesson.
Day
4: Level 1-3 students will create their own character/event
cards for the lesson they have studied, noting important facts
about the character/event. Level 4 students will complete their
Quest page for the next lesson, looking up words in a Bible
dictionary, concordance or topical Bible and answer a critical
thinking question.
Time
for each lesson: 15-20 minutes per day.

Teachers
will begin each lesson by reviewing the last three-four
characters/events on the timeline.
Level 1-3 teachers will do this using a white board. While
reviewing the pictures and titles of the timeline, memory verses
will also be reviewed. Level 4 students will do the timeline
review and memory verse review in their books. All
students will read and draw through the lesson and answer review
questions at the end of class time.
Time
for each lesson: 45-60 minutes per lesson.
