1st - 2nd Grade

Old Testament Overview

Take your first and second grade students on an exciting Old Testament journey. This children’s Bible study will teach the Old Testament timeline, and then students will study characters from Adam to Nehemiah. Students will learn how the Gospel begins in Genesis and look for clues about the Messiah as they stick figure through the Old Testament! Every student will benefit from learning about God and how He interacted with the people of the Old Testament. Level 1 students will be able to draw the timeline independently, and recite memory verses and important facts from the Old Testament. Start your journey today!

50 Weekly Lessons (Teaching time: 45-60 minutes per lesson)

175 Daily Lessons (Teaching time: 15-25 minutes per lesson)

Teacher Book: The combined Level 1 and 2 teacher book contains timelines, lesson notes, stick figure drawings, lesson goals and key points, memory verses, extra memory work (Level 2), and review questions and answers. 320 pages.

Teacher Supply List: Bible, Grapevine Studies Teacher book, dry erase board and dry erase markers-8 colors, Bible dictionary.

Student Book: The student book contains timelines, lessons, memory verses, and reviews. 208 pages.

	Multi-Level Teaching Grapevine Studies makes multi-level teaching simple. If you are teaching Level 1 to Level 4 we recommend that you purchase the teacher manual at the highest level being taught. The teacher notes for each level are designed to teach that level and the levels below with minimal teacher adjustment.
