This month, our Bible timeline takes us from the making of the golden calf to the restoration of the tribe of Benjamin through marriage. Although these events involve only a small percentage of the people of Israel, they remind us that a small group can have a tremendous impact—for good or for evil.
Some chose to follow fear, impatience, and rebellion. Others remained faithful and trusted the Lord. As we read these events, we are challenged to ask ourselves: Which voices are we following today? Are we joining those who seek the Lord, or those who lead others away from Him?
As we explore these Bible timeline events in July, mark your calendar and journey through Scripture one day at a time.
July 1– Tamuz 16

July Thoughts
As we finish this month's journey through biblical history, notice how often the actions of a few people influenced an entire nation. A small group led Israel into idolatry. Two faithful spies encouraged trust in God. A faithful remnant preserved the tribe of Benjamin.
The same is true today. The voices we choose to follow—and the example we set—can influence those around us in powerful ways.
As you move through this month, ask the Lord for wisdom to recognize truth, courage to stand for what is right, and faith to trust Him even when the majority chooses another path.
God's work spans every generation, and His faithfulness never changes. May studying His timeline strengthen your walk with Him today.
