Hello February 2026! This month invites us to slow down and notice how God works through both ordinary moments and major turning points in Scripture. Using the biblical calendar alongside our modern one helps us see the Bible as real history unfolding in real time—not just isolated stories.
As we walk through February, we begin with Joseph and Mary faithfully bringing baby Jesus to the Temple, and we end with the death of Moses, a powerful reminder that God’s work continues from one generation to the next. These events encourage us to reflect on our own faithfulness and ask where God may be calling us to trust and obey in this season.
On our modern calendar, February overlaps with the biblical months of Shevat (shuh-VAT) and Adar (ah-DAR). Grab your calendar, and let’s take a look at the Bible timeline events unfolding this month.
