As we step into October, we come to the close of the Feast of Tabernacles, a joyful celebration. Throughout this month, God’s calendar reminds us of several important moments in Scripture: the ark came to rest after the flood, God’s people were called to repentance, and a king led the people away from worshiping the Lord as God had instructed.
October gives us several reminders for our own walk with God. Are we walking with the Lord each day so that when the floods come, we are ready? Are we willing to repent and change our ways when God reveals our sins? And are we taking time to celebrate the joy and blessings God gives us each day?

This Month on God’s Calendar
October reminds us that God’s calendar weaves together repentance, joy, worship, and trust in His provision. As we move through this new month, may these reminders from Scripture encourage us to walk faithfully with the Lord. Take time to respond to His correction. Then rejoice in His provision in this season. May the Lord bless your October and help us all look to Jesus and deepen our walk with God.
