Description

Biblical Feasts & Holy Days

The biblical feasts and the holy days of the Bible can be difficult to understand. You may be asking, when are the holy days celebrated, how were the Jewish feasts observed, and did these celebrations continue into the New Testament?

If this sounds like a lot to you, you are not alone! In this study, we will look at the basics of the Biblical feasts. Beginning with the timeline, you will discover when each holiday falls during the year. You will also chart the sacrifices for each of the feasts.

In this study, we will answer those questions by looking at the basics of the Biblical feasts. This study begins by charting the holy days on a timeline, so that we can see when each holiday falls during the year. Then, we look at each holy day, one at a time, to discover the original directions given, and how that biblical feast was to be observed. After that, we explore some of the New Testament references related to that individual feast. By the end of the study, your students will be able to draw the timeline of the biblical feasts and tell you facts about each holy day!

During this Bible study you will explore:

  • Purim or the Feast of Esther
  • Passover
  • Unleavened Bread
  • First Fruits
  • Weeks or Shavuot
  • Trumpets or Rosh Hashanah
  • Day of Atonement or Yom Kippur
  • Feast of Booths or Feast of Tabernacles or Sukkot
  • Sabbath

Exploring the biblical feasts brings clarity to biblical passages that refer to the holidays. This study will help you identify references to the feasts so that you can determine the time of year events might have taken place. Finally, you will discover the holidays that Jesus celebrated. Don’t let the biblical feasts and holy days be confusing any longer, start your study today!
