Written by Dianna on .
  • Do your students forget what they learned just a week ago?
  • Are you looking for fun ways to reinforce Bible facts without adding to your prep time?
  • Want a classroom full of smiles during your Bible reviews?

You’re not alone! Bible teachers often struggle with helping students retain what they’ve learned. The good news? A few quick, low-prep games can make all the difference.

In this post, we’ll share some of our favorite quick review games for Bible students, including ideas that use Grapevine products and a fun free Old Testament Bingo game you can download today!

Why Use Review Games?

Games help students:

  • Recall Bible facts faster
  • Connect information with visual and movement cues
  • Practice in a fun, low-stress way
  • Stay engaged and excited to learn more

You don’t need hours to prep—these games are quick, flexible, and effective.

Game Ideas to Try

1. Old Testament Bingo (Free Download!)

Grab your free printable OT Bingo cards and use them as a review tool! Call out clues or definitions and have students cover the right square. If you have a mixed age class, let the older students come up with the clues or definitions.

Summer Flash Cards

4. Stick Figure Speed Draw

Pick an event or person students have studied. Set a timer and let them draw the stick figure from memory. Fastest and most accurate drawing wins. This is a great game to use with mini-marker boards.

✅ Use with: Grapevine Student Books or review pages.

5. Quick-Review Dice

Assign review categories (e.g., People, Places, Memory Verses, Events) to each number on a die. Students roll and answer a question from that category.

Keep It Flexible

Each game can be:

  • Done in under 10 minutes
  • Adapted for individuals, partners, or small groups
  • Played at home or in class

These review games are a great way to end a lesson, kick off a review day, or fill those last 5 minutes before class ends.

Involve the Parents

Sometimes it can be hard to involve parents in Bible classes. At the end of the school year or beginning of the new year, invite parents to a game night. Play a few of the games and show them what their kids have learned.
