Book of Ruth Bible Study
No family is perfect. Some of us were raised in godly homes and others, like Ruth, were not. But for each of us, we come to a time in our life in which we must choose to pursue a life of following God or return to a life without God. What do Ruth and Naomi do?
Travel to Moab where you will meet Naomi, and journey with her as they leave Moab and to resettle in Bethlehem. Watch as her daughter-in-law, Ruth works hard in the fields, gleaning barley and wheat for food. See what happens when Boaz, the owner of the grain fields, notices her gleaning. Learn how Boaz becomes the kinsman-redeemer of Naomi’s inheritance and then marries Ruth. This is a timeless love story that has many parallels for believers today!
By the end of this study, your students will be able to draw the timeline of the book of Ruth on their own! Your children or students will be able to recite memory verses related to the timeline and tell you facts about this important book.
In this Bible study you will:
- Discover how Naomi came to live in Moab
- Watch what happens to Ruth and Naomi when they move to Bethlehem
- See how God provided for them
- Find out what happened after Ruth met Boaz
In the book of Ruth, first, Naomi teaches us the importance of discipleship.
